Yamaha CXA5100 Preamp AV Controller with Airplay

The Yamaha CXA5000 is an ultra-high performance AV controller with high quality 11 channel balanced output through XLR, 3D handling, 4K upscaling and pass-through, high definition mobile device connectivity and much more. 

Featuring a preout for 11 channels, either through balanced XLR or RCA (there are 2 subwoofer outputs through RCA) the CXA5000 delivers an outstanding sound stage. It can also output presence audio, which expands the audio output vertically to create a deeper and more expansive field, giving a more dynamic and realistic audio performance to fully immerse you in the cinema experience. The '5000 requires connection to a power amp- the Yamaha MXA5000 is the ideal partner for awesome power and delivery. 

The CXA5000 features zone switching to help deliver high definition video from a different source in a different zone, supporting zones 2/3/4, for example you can be watching a Blu-ray DVD in one room while high definition cable television is playing in another. In addition, the Subwoofer Trim reduces low frequency overlap with your front speakers - allowing for a cleaner more precise presentation. 

Also included with the CX-A5000 is Airplay, for wireless playback from your Apple devices, Mac or PC. The 5000 plays back from iPods, iPads and iPhones (over Airplay, or via the front USB port), which also, along with Android phones, can be used to control the receiver. Connect it to your network and you can control it from networked computers, stream content from DLNA certified devices (such as computers, laptops and network attached storage (NAS) devices) and - with a broadband connection - listen to internet radio. Digital music will sound better than ever, too, thanks to the CXA5000's Compressed Music Enhancer, which restores compressed files back towards their original sound quality. Another Android feature is MHL - use a single cable to connect your smartphone to the front of the receiver and play high quality video and audio over HDMI on your TV or projector, whilst simultaneously charging your mobile device. 

The rigid chassis, additional bottom frames and fifth foot under the center of the A5000 reduce vibration of the chassis, while the symmetrical power layout reduces magnetic interference, all ensuring a better, purer audio and visual performance. The aluminium front panel lends a touch of class to it's appearance and also sheilds the internal electronics from external interference. It's not fussy, either, flexible enough to be partnered with most kit. 

The CXA5000 provides eight 1080p compatible HDMI inputs (including one on the front, ideal for quickly connecting digital cameras or camcorders) and 2 outputs (enabling simultaneous connection of a TV and projector) - plenty of connectivity for all your devices. Yamaha's YPAO set-up microphone will ensure an optimised sound for your rooms acoustics, while Reflected Sound Control eliminates poor sound that reflected off walls and other surfaces. 

Expand the CXA5000 even further with the YWA-10 wireless receiver or YBA-11 Bluetooth adaptor.
