These compact in-ceiling speakers use Yamaha's original double-layer 4” cone create natural sound tonality. The ridge-shape aluminum centre cap with a 'stair-like' speaker surround helps smooth balanced frequency response from low to high frequencies. The details dont' stop there as they also feature a grain-finished acoustic baffle with spiral pattern for natural sound dispersion. The beauty of installation comes not only in the fact that they are demure emough to fit into very tight ceiling spaces, also in their slim profile design for flush in-ceiling or in-wall mounting. The paintable grille with magnets aid for quick and easy installation - whilst behind the plasterboard a large mounting clamp with non-slip tread gives maximum fastness for a sure, long lasting grip. The connections on the rear of the speaker are Yamaha's typical high quality components, being gold plated spring loaded binding posts that will generously accept up to 8 gauge speaker cable. The quality finish is coupled accordingly with a sealed back cover to protect speaker and crossover from possible dust and moisture. Sold as a pair. Finish: White.
